Day 3.... What was the last book you read?
The Lovely Bones is a 2002 novel by Alice Sebold. It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being raped and murdered, watches from her personal heaven as her family and friends struggle to move on with their lives while she comes to terms with her own death.
Brilliant book, l could not put it down, l went through a whole range of emotional reading through the book, well worth a read

ReplyDeleteI can't for the life of me remember if i've read this or not, I want to say I have. I know i've seen the film as Mark Whalberg plays the dad (and I do love Marky Mark)

I have a collection of Lena Kennedy books, that were my Mum's, they are all about family life in the East End of London, as thats where all my family came from l thought l would read through the series...
