A Trip down Memory Lane.....

For the last few years l have been eager to return to this place,  a place where as a child we would play for hours while on our fortnights holiday with my Grandma...even though really it's not too far away from where l live l never seemed to get around to it.

So when my darling Mum became terminally ill it was her wish to go back there, sadly we never got the chance so l knew this was something l wanted to do in my 50th year,                                           

So a couple of weekends ago Mr Happy and l went off there for the afternoon.. even pulling on to the seafromnt l had butterflies in my stomach..  when l saw the Cannon's my eyes filled with tears... and it really took my breathe away seeing them and being there...

All the memories came flooding back, having lost my Mum not so long ago  the pain and grief is still very raw ... oh how wished we could of had one more photograph together here ....

"A Special Afternoon Tea"

As many of you know l celebrated a very big birthday not so long ago with family and friends.. well unfortunately two special people could not be there so l was asked out for an afternoon for a surprise treat..

Ohhhh l was so excited when l realised they had booked an afternoon tea in a lovely hotel seating on the veranda on the seafront in Dover...

Bank Holiday Fun..

A day of Motorbikes, Chrome, Icecream, Leathers, Smiles and Excitement, what a fantastic way to spend a  Bank Holiday... oh and about 6,000 other people ...

Wow.. Mrs Happy has been slack.....

Finally got myself self back on track after taking some time out and a step back...  having a few life issues to deal with...

But now Mrs happy is standing proud and smiling,  and so looking forward to post regularly again, on my quirky life ..

thank you to all those that have messaged me asking how l am, where l am and when l am l going to be posting again as they love reading my blog, l have to say these messages brought a tear to my eye, a smile to my face and a warm fuzzy feeling to my heart... thank you again my lovelies...
