I hope you are keeping warm and snug on these chilly evenings... I decided over the last couple of weeks thats l'm on a spending ban until my birthday, but as l have pennies in paypal so l wouldn't be spending money l have in my purse l made allowances and trawled ebay for something that caught my eye... and here it is a

Stunning grey fine knitted dress by Samya. it has beautiful floral print on lower part of dress. l just fell in love with it and at a very good price under £10.00 well it would of been rude not lol...

I teamed it with black tights and my Office Black Boots and a little black Cardi... and of course the pearls ...

I just love this outfit, and feel so comfy in it ...

Well you could of knocked me down with a Feather....

This is a post or even a sentence l could never imagine writing a year ago.. l have entered and been picked as one of the 16 finalists for the Team PlussizeUK 2016 calender, Yes me... Mrs Happy who is plus size and nearly 50,

My Journey...

Who'd have thought it eh, certainly not me, When l told Mr Happy about the email he just smiled and said" well go for it you deserve it," even writing those words brings tears to my eyes..

Mr Happy and l have been together nearly 5 years, when we first met l lost all confidence in myself, my body, and even my ability to be woman that men would be attracted to..l had built this massive glass box around myself and so yes people could see me but never get to my emotions, having been married for 18 years and now found myself alone..

He very gently brought my confidence, smile and laugh back and broke down that glass box...

I had enjoyed reading many of the blogs by plussize bloggers, and finally last year l took the giant leap one night when the regular insomnia had raised it's ugly head that l thought, yes l'll make a blog and write my first post.... l can still remember now my finger hoovering over the PUBLISH button, and thought to hell with it , just go for it.... So l did and then shut down my laptop and went off to bed,

The next morning l had several texts from my friends that said they loved reading My Blog, yes mine and they looked forward to reading more... and thats it that how Mrs Happy is almost 50 was born... then l had to overcome now lack of confidence and start doing the outfit of the day photo's on Instagram... Mr Happy, would smile if l asked him, but never moaned, even his friends have took them and my Son and Daughter, friends as well, actually who ever is here at the time...

and that brings us to now and the email l had this morning which totally overwhelmed me and showed how far l have come.................

Ta Wit Ta Woo...

I had admired this dress for a while and then when l saw it in the New Look sale.. l was tempted but they only had it in a size 18... so l posted on a couple of the blogger sites for the plussize bloggers just to see what the sizing was like... and thought "oh Hell, l can always send it back..."

I'm anything in sizing between an 18 to 24 depending on where l shop and what make it is...

This dress is the Samya grey owl print knitted dress in a size 18 (sold out now) ... l loved the feel of the dress and the fit, mmm maybe could of down with the 20 but was please with the way it looks...

I partnered it with thick black tights and my Office Ankle Boots, but will wear it with my Knee length Wedge heeled leather Boots as well...

A Day of Love Laughter and Surprises xx

Sorry l've been quiet on my blog over the last week or so,

1, l've been so poorly and

2, l've been trying desperately to put to together a surprise family and friends get together at my house for my partner Ronnie's 50th birthday, not a easy task l have to say...

BUT hey l did it and yesterday was the day, open house from 1pm.. and seven hours later the last guests left, what a day it was, so many people came, Ronnie (Mr Happy) was totally overwhelmed at the love. kindness and surprises, A day we'll always remember full of laughter, smiles, cake and yes by bedtime a few tears , happy tears though xx
