Looking back over my first six months of blogging....

As the end of the year is upon us, l wanted to say a few words about the last six months, well from when l first started blogging..

When l decided to write a blog l wasn't sure where it would go, what l would write about or even if anyone would read it...

I started by spending hours reading through many other blogs but the ones l found l was more interested in were the plussize bloggers, being plussize myself. some of them were a real inspiration for me to try new clothes and looks and have the confidence to have photos taken and even doing the ultimate selfie ... using Instagram and twitter have opened up a whole new world for me, 
Also following bloggers that are how can l put it.. of a little more mature years ... it's made me smile..

I have looked forward to next year... one as it's 50th year, but also developing my writing skills and l'm hoping so much that l get to meet some of the wonderful other bloggers...

I would like to give a very big thank you to a few of the other bloggers that have helped me on this journey and inspired me ...

Merry Christmas everyone, thank you for following my blog... l hope you've enjoyed reading my post's and l will endeavour to carry on entertaining you next year... OMG it will be my 50th year. l will have to start thinking about a new tittle for the blog as Mrs Happy will become 50 :-)

Secret Santa has Arrived...


Its the Christmas International Beauty Box Swap... Organised by the lovely Lucie (the Beauty & Plus Size Fashion Blogger at Fatbeauty)


I did groan yesterday when l got home and there was a note from the post man saying he'd tried to deliver a parcel but l wasn't in... Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Anyway first thing l went off to the parcel office collected it, l opened the packet there was three little packets, how exciting... l have to say l have sat here debating for the last 6 hours as to whether l save them for Christmas day or do l give in and open then... l gave in to temptation and opened them 








So we have a mixture of  pressies. l look forward to trying them all out... I hope the person l sent mine to enjoyed the effort l put in to it to make it special for them as well ... 
I'm looking forward to taking part again next year

Adding a Splash of Colour....

 I thought l would brighten up a rather black outfit with a splash of colour, this Scuba Skirt was bought from Peacocks... just a nice length, loved it...

... and had so many lovely comments from friends...




I teamed it with a Loose fitting sleeveless Blouse, Long line Cardi, black tights and my Office Ankle Boots

Floral Monogram









This is my most recent purchase from Ebay.. 
a lovely Next black and white rose print dress , it's 
buttoned to waist , ,short sleeved , shirt dress style 
with fab fullish skirt and pockets
.l paired it with a wide leather look belt with big buckle,
 Thick tights, long black Cardi and my Office boots...

Really pleased with the look l'm getting braver...

Unplanned Trip To Primark...

Well it would be rude not to pop in as l was passing....
And came away with a few treats for Me...

Fell in love with this Clutch bag it will match lovely with a Tunic dress l've just bought in the Asos sale...
  
 and top up of eye liners, eye brow pencil and  lip crayon....


Love these Leopard print flat, will look great with a my little black dress and black tights...



and these to come home to  adding a bit of sparkle and glamour to my snuggle evenings

Looking ahead to 2015...


We all have dreams, things that we've always wanted to achieve, however small or big they may be they means so much to us as an individual.. Well  ... I'm not one for planning ahead, but have now taken the first steps to achieving another dream... taking my bike test... I love being on the back of Mr happy and see the world fly by...




I had my first test drive and mmm well, it wasn't too bad, taking in to consideration l have never ridden a motorbike, scooter and the last time l rode a push bike l must of been in my early teens... But i'm in no hurry this will be an ongoing project that l have to say l'm excited about....
