Let me introduce you to "Miss Daisy" my little car,
Now l know some of you will find this a little strange that a woman of 49 and a bit, thinks of her car so much as to introduce her to everybody.. well i only started driving this year in fact l passed my test on Valentines Day..
Brief History
"During my 20 year or so marriage l did start to take lessons, but one reason and another, l stopped taking them so never got around to carrying on, and it wasn't until my marriage ended and l met my partner Ronnie (Mr Happy) that he persuaded me to start having lessons again,"
well l failed a test just before Christmas 2013, and decided to give up... but in the back of my head l heard my Mums 's voice, "you can do it "... so without any one knowing not even Ronnie, l took a few more lessons rebooked my test for Valentines day and passed.. lots of tears on that day ... all l ever wanted to do was pull up outside my Mums house and show her but sadly she had died last year, but l know she was with me in the car on that day. I tucked my pass certificate in to Ronnie's Valentines card and his eyes welled up when he opened it... If it wasn't for him l would never have had the courage or confidence to start again and pass.
A couple of days after a passed a friend of my Mum's, contacted me and said she had a little red KA for sale if l knew anyone.. well l went to look at her and fell in Love... and here she is my Little Miss Daisy...
I added the daisies, that made everyone smile.
The cushion my Daughter bought me, and the Meerkats are my travelling companions :-)
