So it's the first game of the season, and off we go to watch Dover Athletic play against Halifax having just been promoted in to the Conference league..
On Home games l am allowed to join the "Jolly Boys/White Army".. so there l am with Mr happy singing and shouting, ooohhh and ahhhh with hundreds of the lads, ranging from youngsters to the more mature retired gentlemen.
Sadly we lost 0-1.. but was a brilliant game and of course we all went to the pub after to discuss the finer moments of the game
Mr Happy always wears his Uncle's shirt, ( who is sadly no longer with us) that l was allowed to pose in then had to return it :-)
